How it works
Four steps from access to a defensible figure
The labels say where each step stands today. Nothing marked as planned is presented as available.
-
Step 1
Connect read access
Assisted pilotIn a pilot we agree with you which subscriptions to read and how access is given, and we set it up together. Cloudivence asks for read roles only and installs nothing in your environment.
Planned for self-service Self-service: an administrator approves the Cloudivence application in Entra ID, then assigns the read roles it lists, with a check that shows what it can and cannot see.
-
Step 2
Bring the invoice
Assisted pilotUpload the monthly workbook your CSP reseller sends. Cloudivence stores it as received, recomputes it and runs its checks. One reseller's format is supported today. Tell us which one you receive.
Planned for self-service Microsoft's invoice and cost exports, for organisations that buy directly from Microsoft. Until then their months come from Azure cost data and stay labelled provisional.
-
Step 3
Map ownership
Available todayImport the spreadsheet you use today to map resource groups to cost centres. It becomes a change set you review before anything is applied. From then on, changes are made in Cloudivence with their author, reason and date.
-
Step 4
Read, explain and act
Available todayAllocation per line, budgets, provisional and final months, unallocated cost by cause, commitments, and security findings traced to their application and owner, read against CyberFundamentals and NIS2 controls. Every figure and every finding opens on the evidence behind it.
What Cloudivence never does
- It changes nothing in Azure: no write roles, no write calls.
- It installs no agent on your machines.
- It does not read what is inside your storage accounts unless you switch that on.
- It does not guess an owner: unmapped cost stays unallocated until someone decides.
What a pilot looks like
A short scoping call, read access to an agreed set of subscriptions, one or two closed months of invoices, and your current ownership spreadsheet. We then go through the reconciliation and the allocation with you and note what your organisation would need next.
Try it on your own Azure bill
Pilots run with our help today: we agree the scope and the read access with you, then work through one or two closed months together.
